Girl set up

So this co-worker wants to be set up with a girl by the other co-workers who know some available single girls because he is also newly single. I don't mean to be cruel but,  I finally asked him, "what makes you think a girl will enjoy conversing with you? You don't listen to anyone but the sound of your own voice. You have this need to have everyone agree with your opinion and raise your voice when they disagree or express their own perspective."

I could have continued on by saying, "this is probably why your wife left you in the first place."

But I just walked away and let him process what I just told him.

Ugh. As if!

Listen before you speak

You claim to excel in English and yet you can't understand what I'm trying to explain to you. Talking over someone and raising your voice doesn't make you knowledgeable of anything. It makes you look like you don't know what you're saying and you're making up for it by being loud and talking too fast to confuse whoever is talking to you.

Instead of listening to what's being asked of you and maybe pay attention to what is being said, you're busy running your mouth and assuming the worst case scenario before it has even happened. And when the end result doesn't happen the way you've predicted, you will blame someone else for your stupid mistake.

Nobody likes a fucking know-it-all.
